Summary Summary

ADR for Voice Actors is instructed by Kiba Walker. An actor, director, producer, drag performer, and singer based out of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. He is known for his work in anime, video games, television/film, and audio books. He works currently with Funimation Entertainment, Sentai Filmworks, Bang Zoom! Entertainment and various other studios.

ADR is a post-production process used in filmmaking and video production in which additional or supplementary recordings are synced and mixed with original production sound to create a finished product.

This is a six-week course to get you familiar with ADR and character development for voice over. Understanding how ADR works from behind the scenes as well as in the booth is important. You will get hands on training at a base level with practice scripts, mic time, and ADR step-by-step processes.

After this course, you should feel more comfortable stepping into a booth, understanding an ADR script, and feeling confident in creating character choices.


This class is 6 weeks and will attempt to have multiple timeslots to accomodate all timezones.

This class is recorded so you'll be able to keep up to date even if you miss a session.

This class takes 10 credits to enroll.

This class has an instructor, a TA, and peer run assistance to help answer your questions. This class' format is feedback-based.

Hands-on recording practice with director feedback and notes, tips & tricks of the trade

Week 4: Character Auditions

Auditions for final recording ADR project, understanding character development and deciphering from an audition script, and developing more unique A/B takes

Week 5: Final Recording ADR

Final recording process for project, roles are picked, more quick and concise direction to help with being comfortable in the booth

Week 6: Final Recording ADR & Review/Talk Back

Finishing up final recording process, with a Q&A talk back and review of the course.
