Join the CC VO Companions in a hot streak, 3-day workshop intensive tailored to taking your VO career to the next level! This action packed weekend features 5 workshops that will focus on these varied and specific topics:

1. Friday Morning participants will push their boundaries and connect with their emotions while acting as Edmund delves into the importance of being vulnerable behind the mic.
2. Friday Evening participants will get a crash course in the importance of social media presence and networking by Wilhelmina before working on becoming more physical and reactive in the booth.
3. Saturday Morning Thomas will take participants through the essentials of preparing a recording space, doing sound treatment, and getting the most from your equipment.
4. Saturday Evening Thomas will take participants through in depth scene building for character work, building the "Theatre of the Mind", and helping participants get inside the heads of their characters.
5. Sunday Morning leads with Jem as he goes through live audition practices, opening a space for participants to take everything they've learned over the weekend and apply it in a live session with feedback and reinforcement.
6. Sunday Evening, Jeme will get you some more field training because it is time for a mock audition. Combine everything you've learned to see how you do in a live directed audition setting!
7. Finally we come together after the final workshop to celebrate and decompress after an awesome 3 day intensive! Come hang out and relax with the group for completing the VO BootCamp!

Day by Day Outline

Friday — 11 am - 4 pm EST

We'll start things out with Edmund at the helm, come and learn as he brings you into the scope of what you can do with just your voice! He'll then go into further detail and allow you to experiment with pushing your boundaries and how to go past your comfort zone as an actor. We'll break for lunch for an hour. Then listen and learn from Wilhelmina as she teaches you about Social Media and some resources you can get as a voice actor! Then, we'll practice together with adding physicality, and going into the world of efforts and reaxs!

Saturday — 11 am - 4 pm EST

We'll come back and be greeted by Thomas, he'll start things off by teaching us how to properly treat our space and how to setup our recording equipment! What we should use for DAW's, how to setup our microphone, and the like! We'll break again, and from there, Thomas will then teach you about how to character and scene build, what we can do with a script to help make a read our own!

Sunday — 11 am - 4 pm EST

Let's combine everything we've learned throughout this weekend as Jeme takes the helm, take everything we've learned and then some as we dive into how we can vary audition takes, and even do some script reads! Here we'll learn how to change up our takes to give two completely different stories! Then, after lunch, we'll be diving into a mock audition! Let's really combine everything we've learned! As we wind down, we'll let the confetti pop, as we celebrate your completion of this intensive VO Bootcamp!

Wilhelmina is a passionate and expressive voice actor with a deep love for all things nerdy, from cartoons to anime, Dungeons & Dragons, RPGs, and more. When she's not immersing herself in creative projects, you can find her indulging in her love for cats, savoring desserts, and enjoying rainy weather. She's also a strong advocate for midday naps.

Growing up with a profound appreciation for the creative industry, Wilhelmina initially pursued a career in 2D animation. However, during her animation courses, she discovered a newfound curiosity for voice acting. Her journey took an exciting turn when she took her very first voice acting class. She quickly fell in love with the supportive community that blossomed among her classmates, leading her to make the bold decision to fully embrace the world of voice acting.

Jeme Casco, a Filipino-American LGBTQ+ Voice Actor hailing from Long Island, New York, is here to breathe life into your characters! His versatile character reads span from youthful and energetic to stoic and enlightened. With experience in recording for video games, animation, and corporate narration, Jeme is well-equipped to bring your projects to life.

Apart from his voice acting prowess, Jeme is also an avid fan of singing and proudly claims the title of "Karaoke Master."
