Writer: Writes and creates the story

Translator: Translate your work into other languages you want 

Typesetter: Puts the dialogue or text into the bubbles as well as SFX

Sketch Artist: Creates the sketch of the story

Lineart Artist: Cleans up the sketch with clear lineart

Flat Colorist: Adds the colors in after the lineart is complete

Shading/Render Artist: Adds the shading, lighting and finishing touches.

Background Artist: Creates the backgrounds of the scenes

Storyboard Artist: Converts the finished script into a series of images to map out the story 

Slide 8/15 - How To Create A Webtoon

Plot: Sequence of events that make up the narrative, or what happens in the story. 

Script: Outlines all the details of your story

Asset: Content to use in your webtoon such as premade backgrounds, fonts, materials, etc.

Storyboard: Turning your finished script into sketched images to see the rough visual

Typeset: Arranging the dialogue text bubbles and SFX to fit nicely with the artwork

Lineart/Flat/Shade: Cleaning the sketch, adding in the color, shading, and lighting

Render: The finished product. Remember that the storytelling is equal, if not more important than the aesthetics. 

Publish:   Publish to the platform of your choice. Remember to do research beforehand so that you know the requirements and details. Make sure to read the fine print!
