Booking Your Own Opportunities

As an actor, auditioning is part of the job, and putting yourself out there can be a tough and sometimes discouraging process. Hundreds of auditions with no guarantee of success can start to wear you down, and it's easy to feel like you're hitting a dead end. But I’m here to show you that you don’t have to wait for opportunities to find you—you go out and create them.

It’s a big belief of mine that waiting around for things to happen isn’t the way to succeed in this industry. Instead, you have to take the initiative and make things happen for yourself. To prove this, I’ve invited developers I’ve worked with in the past to offer their support for an English dub for their game.

I’ll walk you through exactly what I do to reach out to developers, sharing both the good and the bad of the process. My hope is that this inspires you to take action and put yourself out there. Let’s turn those opportunities into something you create, not just wait for.
