Course Overview

Practice Makes Perfect!

ADR / Dubbing 2 is instructed by professional voice directors, accompanied by an experienced audio engineer. Together they will run live simulations of ADR sessions, taking your dubbing skills to the next level. This small class-sized course will have each student performing real ADR sessions each week.

Familiar with the ADR / Dubbing process, you are ready to tackle more dramatic and difficult scenes, and make bold choices for your character performances.

8 hours spanning 4 weeks with practical direction and invaluable feedback, this class will further prepare you for work as a professional voice actor.

    Each director is different, so you will learn to listen to unique direction styles and adapt accordingly.

    Co-Founder of Closing Credits

    John is a 10 year production veteran, a voice coach, casting and dialogue director, and voice actor. With indepth knowledge on both sides of the window and behind the scenes, his work can be found on major networks such as NBC, CCTV, BTV, and Discovery as well as dozens of video games, corporate videos, and commercials.

    Fluent in English, Japanese, and Chinese, John currently direct talents across the world for various major brands and corporations. With partner studios in Beijing and Tokyo, some of his clients include Google, Microsoft, Nike, Mitsubishi, and United Airlines.

    He is the founder and CEO of Voicedubz Studios and the Head of Education and co-founder of Closing Credits.

  • Tony Wijs

    Audio Engineer, Voice Actor, Musician

    Tony is a seasoned audio producer with over 10 years of experience. After getting his bachelors in audio production, he began to freelance on many productions including sound design, video production, and documentaries. He has extensive knowledge in the voice acting field and can be heard in video games such as Overload and Empire of Sin, has voiced Spider-Man and other characers in electronic reader books for Marvel, and has voiced many commercials on major networks including ABC.

    He is the co-founder and CEO of Immersed Productions which specializes in voiceover demo production, casting, podcast editing, and sound design for video games.

    If he’s not out recording new and original sounds for a project, he’s hanging out with his son gaming and playing music.

  • Homework


    Because this class only runs for 4 Weeks, it is strongly recommended that you attend each class to get the most out of the course.

    This is a completely practical course in which each student will get mic time in each class, however it is not practical to attempt to practice self-directed ADR alone so no homework will be set for this course.

    Strong Internet Connection

    A strong / solid internet connection is highly recommended for this class, and any actor looking to do remote voiceover work.

We will record the live session for you to review.
What is your refund policy?
No refunds. Please be sure you want to take the course before you purchase it.
Do I have to turn on my video during sessions?
If you are uncomfortable showing your face on video, you don’t have to. It is helpful for instructors to watch your gestures and your movements in order to properly assess you as a student, but it’s not required.
